The Board liaises regularly with the membership to ensure the strategy meet the requirements of the membership and addresses regional variations.
Each of the Board members have a track record of embedding quality within the accounting profession – this experience is critical to the culture of the Kudos network.
Alun Morgan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Alun also specialises in audit compliance and regulatory training, with a keen eye for the practical application of standards.
Alun started with the Big 4 and served as a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
After qualifying, he moved on to work with one of the UK’s leading providers of training and support services for the accounting profession.
He is a member of the ACCA’s Financial Reporting Global Forum.
Rebecca will be responsible for overseeing the day to day liaison with firms and will manage our key relationships. Rebecca graduated from the University of South Wales with a degree in law, and has previously worked as a manager for a local citizens advice office for over 10 years.
Michael Scott qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. He specialises in audit compliance and regulatory training. He has extensive experience in this field, initially with the Global Regulation Department of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”), the global professional accounting body, conducting audit regulatory visits to practices worldwide.
Michael moved from ACCA to join one of the UK’s leading providers of training and support services for the accounting profession and together with Alun Morgan (below) founded and built Kudos International and the correspondent association PCP Global.
Jon provides strategic advice to the Kudos Board – Jon was CEO and responsible for the growth and development of a leading international alliance covering 120 countries with over 25,000 professional and support staff and aggregate fee revenues of US$2,400m. He was previously Managing Partner of a 9 office UK practice with 750 staff and fee revenues of US$90m.
Jon has a proven track record of delivering growth within accountancy practices and alliances and is committed to supporting the development of the Kudos network.
